patricia.taft@timetohear.com
352-351-3977

Ms. Taft came to Ocala in 1982 as a Speech-Language Pathologist, a graduate of the University of South Florida. She began working with Dr. Christopher Bald, an Ear, Nose and Throat physician. There was no Audiologist in Marion County and it became clear that one was needed to serve their patients. Thus, she enrolled in the University of Florida, receiving another Master's Degree and becoming a Clinical Audiologist. Ms. Taft is the owner of Professional Speech and Hearing Specialists, Inc. which has grown to having 3 full time Audiologists holding their Doctorates and 1 dually certified Speech-Language pathologist and Audiologist, and a very highly trained front office staff. We provide all diagnostic hearing evaluations at Ocala, Ear Nose and Thraot as well as serve our own patients at the Wallis Medical Center. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, Ms. Taft specializes in adult voice disorders and evaluates and treats those patients as part of the Ocala Ear, Nost and Throat team. There she performs Videolaryngostroboscopy (visualizing and recording the vocal cords) as well as voice evaluations and voice therapy.

At the Wallis Medical Center, Ms. Taft sees her hearing patients for evaluations and hearing aid fittings. Ms. Taft is most proud of the staff she employs: highly dedicated, compassionate professionals that share the same goal: providing the best hearing solution possible for every patient.
